TANAUAN INSTITUTE " LAKBAY ARAL 2023"
Tanauan Institute conducted a "Lakbay Aral" on May 12, 2023, in Pampanga. We have the amazing chance to take part in this informative journey to Dinosaur Island, San Agustin Church, and the largest Sky Ranch, all located in San Fernando, Pampanga, along with the air base Clark Field in Angeles City, Pampanga. The SGB office and Tanauan Institute officers organized this trip. The group departed with many busloads of eager and motivated college students and a designated tour guide on each bus, and off we went on an almost 4-hour ride.
FIRST DESTINATION: AIR FORCE CITY PARK, ANDRES BONIFACIO AVENEU CLARK FREEPORT ZONE

A visit to the park will allow you to see the UH-1H Iroquois or HUEY, a Vought F8 Crusader, an F5a Jet (also known as the Freedom Fighter), a T-28 Trojan, and a T-33 or a Thunder Bird, which was the nation's first aircraft and ushered the Philippine Air Force into the jet age. In addition to a historical park provides shady spaces for picnics and naps in addition to a history walk. Kids can run about and have fun in the large area that has a play area.
SECOND DESTINATION: DINOSAURS ISLAND- CLARK PAMPANGA
One of the highlights of Dino Island is the T-Rex Tower. The tower is a 50-meter high structure that allows visitors to have a panoramic view of the park and the surrounding area. Visitors liken the experience to that of being a prey and the T-Rex Tower as the lookout point of the predator.
Dino Island also gives its visitors a chance to have a closer look at the dinosaurs through a guided tour. The tour guide provides fascinating facts about each dinosaur species and their habitat. The park also has a museum that showcases dinosaur relics and fossils, providing visitors with a glimpse into the world of paleontology. Overall, visitors enjoy their experience at Dino Island in Pampanga. The park immerses visitors into a prehistoric world, allowing them to explore and learn more about the extinct creatures that once roamed the earth. The combination of interactive robotic dinosaurs, panoramic views, and educational tours makes it a must-visit destination for families and dinosaur enthusiasts alike.
THIRD DESTINATION: SAN AGUSTIN CHURCH PARISH AT SAN FERNANDO PAMPANGA
The San Agustin Parish Church, often referred to as the Lubao Church, is a Neo-classical Spanish stone and brick building from the 17th century that is situated in Brgy. Philippine city of Pampanga, San Nicolas First, Lubao. The Historical Committee of the Philippines, a forerunner of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, erected a historical monument with a brief history of the building on the church's exterior in 1952. The National Museum of the Philippines designated the church as an Important Cultural Property in 2013.
The majority of the scenes for the well-known Philippine series "May Bukas pa" were filmed at San Guillermo Parish Church, also known as San Agustin Parish, in Barangay Cabambangan and the Municipal Hall of Bacolor in Barangay Calibutbut.
LAST DESTINATION: SKY RANCH PAMPANGA
